Ko te manu ka kai i te miro, nona te ngahere.
Ko te manu ka kai te matauranga, nona te ao.
A culturally - knowledgeable person is a citizen of the world
The programme, delivered from a Maori world view, addresses and facilitates informed discussion on the state of the race relations in Aotearoa - New Zealand.

By addressing the sources and causes of what many people today perceive as racial conflict,
a better understanding is possible, not only of why we are, but what changes in attitude and behaviour are necessary to change things. Te Pumaomao achieves this by unravelling many of the myths and mis-truths that we, as New Zealanders, have all grown up with.
