International Study Opportunities and Internships in New Zealand

We are interested in people living in harmony with nature and with each other.

Studying permaculture design and participating in community building are useful ways to learn the skills of living peacefully and sustainably in the world

Experience working on the land with others conscious of their relationship with nature is also valuable and rewarding.

In urban society peoples connection with the earth is often all but lost. This alienation is reflected in relationships within society.

We offer these study and internship opportunities as a way of enabling people to reconnect with the earth and engage with each other. This is an integrative process that equips us to deal with issues or relationships in many realms of our lives.

We recognise that many travellers, especially from urban environments, appreciate the security and support we provide. It enables them to quickly get in touch with the adventures, enjoyment, excitement and cultural difference that New Zealand (Aotearoa) offers.

Programme participants tell us that they gain many insights into themselves and their own culture during their time in New Zealand. There is nothing like going to the other side of the world to discover what is at home!

We wish to make our programme as accessible as possible and aim to suit the pocket and aspirations of all applicants.

A participants programme is designed in consultation with each participant.

One appeal of our programme is that it takes travellers off the main tourist track into the heart of the country and the hearts of the local people.

We encourage participants to give themselves permission to explore totally new ideas and experiences. We support creativity and resourcefulness.

You may want to join this programme for purely personal reasons or you may wish to gain university or professional association accreditation. We cater for both.
